Rajna and her father, P.K. Swaminathan, teach mrudangam and various other aspects linked to South Indian rhythm. The curriculum used is the same as that which is taught at the Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman School of Mrudangam in Chennai. The educational mission of Rhythm Fantasies, Inc. constitutes an extension of this school of thought.
